I’m posting this photo only to show why I care so much about my work
This is one of the few photographs you’ll see of my oldest daughter (taken Saturday, after being away for a week “fighting the bad guys in California”). When my girls are adults, they will decide whether to share their most intimate and embarrassing moments with the world. Whether to share such moments is not my decision to make for my kids.
Parents, please read The Coddling of The American Mind by Jonathan Haidt and Gregg Lukianoff. Even before COVID-19, suicide rates among teen girls was skyrocketing as a result of anxiety related to social media. Keep your kids safe and teach them to cope with anxiety and social pressures before letting them plug in.
I’m posting this photo only to show why I care so much about my work. I care about protecting kids because I’m a father. To all those folks who packed up their families and ran away from California, remember, your kids must live in a world populated permanently by damaged adults created by idiotic policies intended to protect the elderly and infirm at the cost of the young and healthy.
