I know exactly how this kid feels. I have ADHD. I have to sit in the front row of every class just to focus. When you have a learning disability, you often have to work harder than other people for the same results.

Because this nine-year-old wanted an education free of actual physical barriers, the school put him outside, alone, in a field—all day. When his dad tried to advocate for his son, the school threatened criminal sanctions. I’ve seen this happen. It’s common.

This is why I will not rest.
