Capistrano School Board Trustee resigns effective IMMEDIATELY
Plus addressing Capistrano School Board Meeting, the Board and agitators outside, and our plaintiffs on the Vaccine Safety Research Foundation Zoom yesterday
There’s a lot going on.
Yesterday, Trustee Pamela Braunstein announced her resignation from the Capistrano Unified School District Board of Trustees, effective March 3, 2022. She cited “her disagreement with anti-mask sentiments from other trustees,” as per the San Clemente Times.
“Some of my fellow CUSD Trustees have been proposing policies that aren’t compliant with the law, which, if they were to succeed, (would) not only hurt the district but put me in an untenable position ethically and professionally as an attorney,” Braunstein announced in a statement.
The policy in reference was a recent resolution from Trustee Lisa Davis—who represents San Clemente—calling for masks to be optional for students ahead of the state lifting the student mask mandate after March 11. The resolution failed to be approved by the board in a 4-3 vote, with Braunstein among the “no” votes.
“This, along with the never-ending, organized harassment by a certain vocal minority led me to the unfortunate conclusion that I had to resign for the safety of myself and my family,” Braunstein further said.
Parents and students opposed to mask and vaccine requirements for school students have frequently shown up to demonstrate against pandemic-era requirements during CUSD board meetings.
NOTE: The Gavel Project strongly disagrees with Braunstein’s mischaracterization of our peaceful civil disobedience, an American hallmark. We’d also like to take a moment to thank Trustee Lisa David for calling for Mask Choice.
Earlier I spoke at the Capistrano School Board meeting. A number of the Board Members have lost their minds. I hope they are each ready to face a jury of their peers in the biggest lawsuit in American history. All they needed to do was get a second legal opinion. They will be held accountable personally.
Speaking at recent Capistrano Unified School District Board Meeting
I stood outside of the district building with a microphone and a loudspeaker for nearly a half hour explaining this to Board Members. To the Board Members: I know you heard us. You have no excuses for what is coming.
The attorney for this district (Justin R. Shinnefield, and likely other members of his firm, Atkinson, Andelson, Loya, & Romo) will ultimately be sued for malpractice, and he will lose.
What happened last night will go down as one of the saddest public justification sessions for child abuse in history. I hope you are all prepared for discovery. I, personally, cannot wait to take a look at your financial records and find out what is motivating you.
This is the same district where The Gavel Project plaintiff, Troy, has been engaged in peaceful civil disobedience by refusing to wear a mask. I wrote about this in a prior Substack.
There also looked to be an organized group of agitators at the Capistrano Unified School District Board Meeting, advocating for more child abuse-masking of our children. After the meeting they loaded up in vans and left immediately - the exit seemed organized. The first ones honking outside were also agitators, in my view, in a row, laying on their horns. I heard way too many people cheering for the mandates to be anything less than that. I'm grateful people kept blasting their horns, though. It became a beautiful demonstration.
I wanted to share the link of this from my Instagram, but Instagram was not allowing that from a mobile earlier today. (Yes, I could copy a link from another page. I have started posting to Rumble.) Here is the link that could be copied from a desktop: https://www.instagram.com/tv/Caqi0b2lww1/
Communicating to Board Members and agitators at recent Capistrano Unified School District Board Meeting
A number of The Gavel Project plaintiffs also were invited to speak on the Vaccine Safety Research Foundation Zoom yesterday on the topic of Bullying in California.
Louisa and the VSRF Team spoke with
Rachel, Parent & Founder of Natomas Unified School District for Freedom
Tracy, Parent, Attorney & Founder of California Parents United
Gabby & Troy, California High School Students who have been suspended, bullied and harassed for questioning the mask mandates in their schools.
Jayla, a 9-year-old student who has been bullied over the mask mandate.
We’ll post the recording when it’s available.
We will continue to fight via peaceful civil disobedience and lawfare to stop masking-child abuse of children.
These people don't seem to understand that mandates are not law. And even if a mandate is passed by a legislative body (only way could be law) it can't contain illegal elements. Could I pass a mandate to shoot every 8th person who enters the building? No. Just because I call something a mandate does not make it legal or lawful. We have got used to just obeying authority figures without holding them to account to actually follow the laws of our nation. This whole thing has been a wake up call to me. Abusing children has happened under the color of law in our county before ie Residential Boarding Schools for Native Children and every time it has left a deep scar on the soul of our nation. We have to start holding public officials accountable to their oaths to abide by the laws of our Country. Thanks for what you do.
